James and his wonderful family couldn't have been more hospitable ... truly a lovely experience. I have traveled alot throughout Canada for work and this property is right up there with the best of hotel chains with value added personal service and friendliness. Definitely Five stars for what it is, a very nice step up from a basic motel. Very clean large rooms. Comfy beds, large walk in shower with heated tile floor. Quality furnishings. Easy parking near our door. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Offered to store our bicycles in their garage so we didn’t have to leave them on the car bike rack. And they didn’t even take a credit card number when I called to reserve, just simply said, “see you when you get here.” I actually felt like I had arrived at a friend’s place when I walked in the office to register.

Spent this past weekend in Napanee at an event with friends. We shared two rooms. Jim was very accommodating and set us up with rooms next to each other. The rooms were very clean and the property was lovely. One of our party even had a chance to enjoy the pool. If the same event is a go next year we will definitely be back!

This was an excellent choice for our stay. Clean rooms with ample space and comfortable firm beds. The rooms were well insulated and there was very little noise from other rooms if any. Parking was spacious and the parking lot was cleaned impeccably from snow and ice.

We stopped at this hotel on the way to Quebec City from Toronto. The rooms are comfortable - recently renovated, all amenities worked perfectly. The hotel is conveniently located near Highway 401 in the city of Napanee, with good breakfast options and a historic waterfall nearby. The stuff is very attentive to customers' needs. When I forgot something in the room, they phoned me and arranged the pick-up.

Travelling with my kids last week, we stopped in for a night and I was charmed by the obvious pride and care the proprietors have for their motor inn. The grounds were well-kept and decorated (even though it's the shoulder season), the rooms were freshly updated; talking with them at the counter, they were kind and helpful to myself and my curious children. Only downside was we had to drive to dinner, as the downtown area was about 1km down the roadway. Highly recommend to any and all travelers who read this review. Thanks again!

We stayed at this motel over the weekend with a couple families for our kids hockey tournament. Price was great, rooms were big and new, we stayed in the new section 2nd floor at the back of the motel and it didn't disappoint! It was fresh, clean and still smelled like a new build. One of the people in our group was at the front block of rooms facing the main road and it was a bit noisy with all the cars but got quite as the night went on. Those rooms were smaller and older and looks like it was the original motel. At the back they have a new two floor building as well as a couple small cottage like building - one had 2 bedrooms in it. We made use of the green space at the back with our boys playing football, soccer and we had a bbq with the bbq on site and all sat at the picnic tables socializing. This was a great spot for a group as we can sit outside while the boys played not worrying about bothering other patrons. They used the basketball nets but the pool had just closed for the season. Highly recommend this hotel for a group of people with kids as the kids can play outside without worries. The owners were great. Will return for sure if we need to stay in napanee area again.

I was very impressed with the Fox Inn. My friend and I were in town for a wedding. We were uograded to a cottage and I couldn't have been more happy. Love having my own room. It was clean, quiet and the owners were super kind.
